About Reiki & Healing with Amanda

     After many years in the healthcare industry, I knew I wanted to be in a position of providing care; however, I felt that more conventional types of medicine were not fully in alignment with my values. I have always understood that conditions should be looked at from a holistic perspective, so the whole individual may be considered, not just the symptom that has presented itself. It is helpful to consider the "root cause," which, once addressed, often allows for a deep healing on a physical, emotional, mental, and/or spiritual level.

    Reiki originated in Japan in the early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese scholar who was interested in the pursuit of knowledge. Rei refers to "Higher Power." Ki means "Life Force Energy." Reiki is referring to a Life Force Energy that originates from a Higher Power. Reiki is an intelligent energy, just as we live in an intelligent universe, that goes where needed most in the body. A trained practitioner can send Reiki to the past, present, or future, in-person, or over a distance.

      Once I started studying Reiki, I knew I had found a method of healing that resonates deeply on a soul level. As a Reiki Master, I am excited to be able to offer my services to allow for potentially life-changing healings to occur. 

 

Sessions may be booked to address the following issues or concerns: 

• Heal physical pain.

• Heal a past version of yourself, or, if you feel it is necessary, preemptively send healing to a future version of yourself. 

• Allow for perfect functioning of your chakras, meridians, and energetic channels. 

• Uncover the root cause of anxiety, depression, sadness, worry, fears.

• Heal past life issues.

• Inner child healing, including healing from childhood trauma.

• Release negative karma.

• Remove energetic blockages.
